Pleasant staff! Rooms were clean, no elevators so may have problems getting up the stairs if they put you there. But wasn't too bad. Would stay again.
Location was perfect. We had a wedding two miles away. Their chosen hotel cost $120 a night. Our room was $58! Smelled fine, TV worked, sheets were clean, staff was wonderful. Chairs looked like they had seen better days. Tub was a little worn but hot water came on right away. Paint on the one wall had some long marks on it, could have been touched up in a few minutes. Bed was comfortable. Would stay there again.
The only reason that this is not a 5-star rating is because the facility does not have an elevator. This was the nicest "inexpensive" hotel that I have ever stated in. Very clean, very well appointed (King bed, recliner, desk/chair, apartment sized fridge and microwave!!) Recently remodeled with new carpet, granite in bathroom, comfy shower. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating as well. I was extremely happy and the cost was less than half or any other major "chain hotel". I WILL stay there again when I return to the Montoursville area.
I was so disappointed in your motel! The desk clerk was very helpful but the good ended there. The sheets were wrinkled which leads one to believe they have been slept in prior to us. The clerk said they come out of the laundry like that. Really ?? Would you tell your staff to do that? The next day when we came back to the room the maid left a pile of trash between the beds! We called the front desk to have a look at it and instead of removing it right then he goes back to his computer to check something. The beds were made not changed to clean sheets. I know this because I left socks inside the bed as I forgot to get them out before I left. I will not go back to any Motel 6.!
It was a very pleasant experience from the start. The gentleman checking me in went so far as to physically check to ensure that my room was completely clean prior to checking me in. The room was as requested, clean and comfortable. The mini-fridge was a nice touch. The rate was reasonable and the location was convenient for my stay. I've stayed here before, and will probably do so in the future.
